Direct Transfer to Voice Mail

It is important to realize that there is no simple "Direct To VM" mechanism. In order to accomplish this task you must create a seperate ephone-dn that is call forwarded directly to the voice mail box of the extension you need to transfer directly to voice mail for. It is recommended that you coordinate the Direct to VM ephone-dn's with the other ephone-dn. For example if your number plane is 100-150 you might setup 600-650 as direct to vm ephone-dn's.

EXAMPLE:

ephone-dn 100

number 600

call-forward all [Pilot number of voice mail]

In the CUE you need to access the web interface.
1. Access the "Users" menu
2. Go to the user you need a direct to VM box for by selecting their name
3. In the field "Primary E.164 Number" enter the DN
4. Under the "Primary Extension" field ensure the correct DN is entered
