Reset The UC500 To Factory Default Through CLI

1. Session into CUE using: service-module Integrated-Service-Engine? 0/0 session

2. Type offline to set the CUE into offline mode

3. Type y when asked "Are you sure you want to go offline[n]?"

4. Once in offline mode enter restore factory default

5. Type y when asked "Do you wish to continue[n]?"

6. Press any key when prompted Press any key to reload:

7. At this point you will have to wait a few minutes, maybe as many as ten. DO NOT turn of the system during this process.

8. Use a show flash command to view the contents of the Compact Flash card

9. Locate the default config file in the list of files. The name will not always be the same from model to model. An example name is "UC520-8U-4FXO-K9-factory.cfg"

10. Copy the appropriate file to the startup config with the Copy flash:UC520-16U-4FXO-K9-factory.cfg startup-config

11. Issue the reload command to restart the unit
